Who we are
Venice Partners Ltd is the controller of personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17035879. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
Information we receive
This website has no account, contact form or analytics service. If you choose to email us, we receive the information in your message, which may include your name, work contact details, organisation and enquiry. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes ordinary technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL and security events.
Why we use it
We use this information to:
- respond to enquiries and take steps requested before an engagement;
- manage professional relationships and provide our services;
- keep the website and our communications secure; and
- meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
The usual legal bases are our legitimate interests in running and protecting the firm, steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing and international processing
We share personal information only where needed with service providers that support our hosting and business communications, professional advisers, or public authorities where the law requires it. Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data may be processed outside the United Kingdom subject to the safeguards required by data protection law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep enquiries and business correspondence only for as long as they are reasonably needed for the purposes above, including any legal, accounting or dispute-resolution period. Security logs are retained in line with the operational settings of our hosting provider.
Cookies
Venice Partners does not use analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies on this site. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security mechanisms when protecting the service.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to our use of your personal information. Email jack@venicepartners.com to make a request or ask a privacy question. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
